Hi there.. just picked up the latest issue of “Down to Earth” – an interesting monthly magazine on clean and environment friendly issues, primarily reporting in india and worldwide developments.. apparently in Western India, there is an ashram that has built a solar crematorium ( at an approxiimate cost of INR 10 lakhs) in a bid to make the journey of the departed clean and environmently friendly.. what a way to become united with the Gods !
I wonder what some of our fundamentalist and Hindu organisations have to say to that.. ?
